B. DOUGLAS SCADDAN, B.A., L.L.B.
Doug Scaddan was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968. He then attended the University of Windsor Law School, graduating with his Bachelor of Laws in 1975 . After his call to the bar Doug practiced with the firm Cusinato, Gatti, in Windsor, Ontario and later opened his own office in Leamington, Ontario. In 1984, Doug formed a partnership with Walter Jakob, who had just been called to the bar. They have practiced in partnership for the past 26 years.
Doug is a past president of the Leamington Chamber of Commerce, has been a coach and manager of several minor hockey teams in the Leamington area, and is a past president and executive member of the Leamington Flyer Junior B hockey club. Doug is also involved in a number of community service groups as both a Director and volunteer.
Doug resides in Wheatley, Ontario, one of Canda's largest fishing ports, with his wife Sue and daughter Nicki.
Doug has a wide range of practice including real estate, corporate-commercial and business law, estates, and family law (separation & divorce).

WALTER M. JAKOB, B.A., L.L.B.
Walt was born and raised in Leamington, Ontario where he graduated from Leamington, District Secondary School in 1976. He attended the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics in 1979. He then attended the University of Windsor Law School where he graduated with his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1983. He was called to the Bar in April of 1984 and has practiced in partnership with Doug Scaddan since his call.
Walt also has a wide area of practice including Family Law, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate and Mortgages, Wills and Estates.
Walt resides in Kingsville, Ontario with his wife Jill and two children, Riley and Abby. Walt is active in the community, sits on the board of several corporations, is a former director of the South Essex Law Association and in 2009 was honoured for his 25th anniversary of being called to the bar. Walt is also active in various athletics including hockey and golf, as well as having played music professionally for 40 years.
